Mayor Garcetti has made it one of his goals to make sure that valet parking companies are operating within the boundaries of the law.
Valet parking companies in Los Angeles and even the valet parking attendants are required to maintain a valid “valet parking permit” to operate on any public right of way. This includes areas such as: sidewalks, loading zones, parking meters, etc.
